It all started with depression and post-punk: After immersing himself in self-pity for too long, Deckert took back control of the studio. He channeled his darkest energies and screamed, red wine in hand, at the black hole that had been sucking him in: Hajime! (Japanese for "beginning") The New Order, immersive polka dots and joyriding bass and guitar lines come together in this two-track journey in which Deckert fights himself back to mental health and right onto the dancefloor. Hajime (Dot after Dot) comes with a balmy take on the same dark matter by Amount and a decelerated interpretation by Sascha Home.
